By continuing with your booking, you are agreeing with the MooreHouse Terms and Conditions

 

RESPECT

​

We ask that you treat MooreHouse with the love and respect you would your own home, please be respectful of the property and neighbours.

 

SMOKING

​

There is no smoking within the MooreHouse, however there are allocated smoking areas with ashtrays where smoking is permitted, please use these, and dispose of cigarettes in the appropriate ashtrays, not around the garden or in the bushes please.

Guest found smoking outside of the allocated areas within MooreHouse will be fined, and loose their deposit.

 

PARTIES/ GATHERINGS AND ADDITIONAL GUESTS

​

There are to be no parties/ gatherings or events without prior authorisation from the host, each guest staying at the MooreHouse must be a registered guest prior to arrival.

Failure to inform the host, may result in loss of deposit.

 

CLEANING

​

We understand that when on your holidays, the last thing you want to be doing is cleaning, we offer a regular cleaning service for those who book MooreHouse long stay.

We ask that you keep MooreHouse as clean as possible, removing all food from the property at checkout, as well as recycling/ waste. There are recycling bins available in the garden.

Please do not leave any rubbish or bags in the garden as the seagulls will rip them apart, which can be dangerous to other wildlife.

We ask that you do not go to sleep in excessive false tan/ makeup or anything that could cause stains, any excessive mess or stains will result in partial loss of deposit.

Please do not feed the seagulls!

 

LAUNDRY

​

If you have opted for our premium package, where we include towels, please find a laundry bag in each wardrobe, to put your dirty towels in at the end of your stay, prior to checkout.

 

HONESTY

​

Please report any mess, breaks or accidents as soon as possible to the MooreHouse team, this is a family run business and we are very understanding people.

We prefer honestly and respect those that show it, so if you do have any accidents during your stay, for example a pet having an accident on one of the rugs, a cup breaking ect. By letting us know you are enabling us to organise deep cleans, and replacements before our next guest.

Accidents that are reported are much less likely to result in a total loss of deposit.

All accidents are to be reported to the MooreHouse team as soon as possible by ringing the team on 07359668514, if any property is damaged, please make us aware as soon as possible to prevent total loss of deposit.

​

PETS

​

Pets are allowed at the property once confirmed with the host, at an additional charge of £10 a night, pets shouldn't be allowed on the furniture and any long haired pets should also be groomed prior to the stay.

All dog mess should be cleaned prior to check out with the bags provided.

 

ELECTRICS

​

Please ensure all electrical items including switches are turned off when not in use and at checkout.

 

CENTRAL HEATING

​

Controlled at the boiler located in the kitchen in a cupboard.

 

FIRE SAFETY

​

At MooreHouse we have taken preventative measures with a fire safety hob, and a fire blanket in the kitchen, located behind the sink.

In the event of a fire,

1. please ensure everyone exits MooreHouse via their nearest exit.

2. Rings emergency services as soon as possible on 999.

3. Once everybody is safe, and emergency services have been notified please contact the MooreHouse team as soon as possible on 07359668514.

 

FIRE PIT

​

We have a fire pit in the garden, that guests are permitted to use, you are responsible for the health and safety of yourself if deciding to use this feature..

In the Platinum Package, firelighters and wood is provided.

We ask that you do not add any fuel to the log burner.

Please keep the fire pit in the area it has been placed when in use, for safety reasons.

The fire burner can stay hot for a very long time after it looks as though it has stopped burning, so please do not touch the fire pit once it has been used.

 

CHILDREN

​

Children are permitted at the MooreHouse, as long as they are with a parent/ guardian/ responsible adult over the age of 18.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

​

Guests are responsible for their own safety and well-being during their stay.

In the event of an emergency, please contact emergency services on 999.

 

CHECK IN

​

Check in time is 14:00pm, a member of the team will give you a code to access the key safe on the day of check in.

To the right hand side of the front door , you will find the key safe, which will contain the keys to the porch and front door.

The keys to the rest of the property will be on the key hook in the kitchen and labelled.

​

You will be text the morning of your stay the code for the keypad, as this changes per guest.

​

CHECK OUT

​

Check out time is at 11am,.

Prior to check out time please;

Ensure all waste and food items are removed

Ensure all windows and doors are locked

Ensure all of personal belongings are collected

Turn the heating thermostat to the lowest

Turn off all electrical items

DEPOSIT

​

After checkout, our team will perform a deep clean, with a vary of checks, once those checks have been passed, the deposit will be released, and can take 3-5 working days to return into your bank account.

 

SECURITY & ALARMS

 

At MooreHouse Holiday Lettings, we want you to feel as safe as possible during your stay, whilst your belongings are your responsibility during your stay, we want to give you peace of mind knowing whilst you are exploring the local area, your items are as secure as possible.

We have a state of the art fitted alarm system including CCTV cameras, the internal cameras are only switched on and activated during a break in and will notify both the host, and the third party security company Verisure.

The PIR sensors detect a break in which will trigger the internal cameras, they are only activated if the windows and doors are forced and only overlook key security points, they do not cover the bathrooms or bedrooms.

In the event of break in, FOGG will be dispensed from the security system and there will be 0% visibility.

The cameras to the front of the property and driveway are functional and operational 24/7.

Information on how to work the alarm system and fob will be included in the welcome pack within the property.

 

CANCELLATION

 

In the unfortunate event that a guest requires the cancellation of a confirmed booking at MooreHouse Holiday Lettings, we have a

no refund policy.

The booking is paid in full at the time of booking/ reservation.

If we are given enough notice of a cancellation, over 60 days, the booking dates may be able to be changed, dependant on

availability, however will not be refunded.

In the event of the booking being cancelled within a 24 hour period of booking confirmation, a full refund will be issued.

Once a cancellation has been processed, we cannot undo this, or resume your previous booking.

In the rare event that the MooreHouse Holiday Lettings needs to cancel the booking, due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will

be contacted immediately and offered either a full refund or the change of dates.

We recommend that guess take out their own comprehensive travel insurance when booking MooreHouse Holiday Lettings.

KEYS & FOBS

 

Lost keys incur a fine of £10 per key.

Lost alarm fobs incur a fine of £150

 

THE NOOK

​

The Nook is a our children's game room located upper deck in the MooreHouse, this is a novelty secret games room.

Due to the small entrance to this room, we recommend that only responsible children are allowed in this area, to prevent any accidents as the room requires crouching/ crawling to get inside.

Health and safety for children using this room is the responsibility of the responsible adult on the booking.

Adults can fit into this space, but would be required to crouch/ crawl to get through the entrance.

 

BABY MONITOR

​

There is a baby monitor available to use at the MooreHouse, this does not keep any recording, or link with any database that keeps recordings.

MooreHouse Holiday Lettings collects and processes personal information and personal data, relating to guests, to manage their private hire booking. This information can be held in paper, or in electronic format.

 

MooreHouse Holiday Lettings, are transparent about how personal information is handled, protecting the privacy and security of your personal information, and to meeting data protection regulations [GDPR] and the Data protection Act 2018.

The purpose of this privacy notice is to make you aware of how and why we collect and use your personal information, before, during and after your booking with MooreHouse Holiday Lettings.

 

We are required under the GDPR to notify you of the information contacted in this privacy notice, this applies to all current and former guests and is non- contractual and does not form any part of contract for services.

 

DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES

 

Under the GDPR, there are six data protection principles we must comply with there ensure that the personal information we hold must be;

Lawfulness, fairness and transparency - This principle means that personal data must be processed based on a lawful basis, such as consent or a legal obligation. Processing must also be fair, and individuals must be informed about how their data is being used.

Purpose Limitation - Personal data should only be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not used for incompatible purposes.

Data minimisation - Only the personal data that is necessary for the specific purpose of booking MooreHouse Holiday Lettings should be collected and processed.

 

Accuracy - Reasonable steps must be taken to ensure personal data is accurate and kept up to date.

 

Storage limitation - Personal data should not be kept for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

 

Integrity and confidentiality (security) - Personal data must be processed in a way that ensures its security, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

 

Accountability - Organisations are responsible for demonstrating compliance with all the GDPR principles.

 

MooreHouse Holiday Lettings is responsible for, and must be able to demonstrate compliance with, these principles. This is called accountability.

MooreHouse Holiday Lettings collects, uses and processes a range of personal information about you. This includes:

 

  • Your contact details, including your name, address, telephone number, personal e-mail address, Age or DOB, including proof of ID.

  • The details of your booking and any other associated service

  • Your bank or credit card details for the purposes of paying MooreHouse holiday Lettings booking fee and any other associated fee’s or purchases

How do we collect your personal information?

 

The Company may collect personal information from online forms which you have chosen to submit voluntarily and include an opt in box for future correspondence.

 

We may collect details over the phone if you have called to enquire about MooreHouse Holiday Lettings and should you wish to make a booking you will be asked to complete a booking form which acknowledged consent to the Terms and Conditions and has an opt in box for future correspondence.

In the rare event that your personal details will need to be stored on paper or anything hand written, these are locked away and will be shredded no later than 3 weeks after your booking.

 

Your personal information is usually stored on our password protected electronically devices, with password protected emails, to contact you if consented.

 

Your personal details are also entered into our password protected booking system.

 

 

Why and how MooreHouse Holiday Lettings use your personal information?

 

We will only use your personal information lawfully, we will use your personal information to contact you to discuss your booking, if you have asked for any information regarding to additional services, with your consent, we may pass your contact details onto one of our therapists for you to gain more information or book an additional service.

The purpose for which we are processing your personal information is to enable us to book your stay at MooreHouse Holiday Lettings.

If you fail to provide personal information, when requested or required, we may not be able to confirm your booking.

We do not collect sensitive personal data ( Such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or sexual orientation)

We may take note of some sensitive data, such as age, if you freely offer this information, to be able to provide age related equipment, I.e children safety gates, high chairs.

Change of purpose

 

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it. If we need to use

your personal information for a purpose other than that for which it was collected, we will provide you, prior to that further processing, with information about the new purpose, we will explain the legal basis which allows us to process your personal information for the new purpose and we will provide you with any relevant further information.

We may also issue a new privacy notice to you.

 

How does MooreHouse Holiday Lettings  protect your personal information?

 

Your personal information will always be stored where there is a password protected system in place, with minimal people having access to this.

In the rare occasion your details are recorded on paper, or kept on paper, they will be in a locked, cctv monitored premises, and shredded 3 weeks after your reservation.

Occasionally bookings for MooreHouse Holiday Lettings may be made through 3rd party companies such as Air bnb and Booking.com, WIX in this instance please check there own privacy notice for further reference, however this works in a very similar way, personal details are password protected.

In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, other third parties who have a business need to know in order to perform their job duties and responsibilities.Where your personal information is shared with third-party service providers, we require all third parties

to take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information and to treat it subject to a duty of confidentiality and in accordance with data protection law.

MooreHouse Holiday Lettings will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of your booking. We may ask your consent to keep some contact details such as email address, to be able to contact you for marketing purposes in future.

However if you do not wish to be contacted you have the right to withdraw your consent, or the right to be forgotten.​

As a data subject, you have a number of statutory rights. Subject to certain conditions, and in certain circumstances, you have the right to:

 

1. request access to your personal information - this is usually known as making a data subject access

request and it enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to

check that we are lawfully processing it

2. request rectification of your personal information - this enables you to have any inaccurate or

incomplete personal information we hold about you corrected

3. request the erasure of your personal information - this enables you to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where there’s no compelling reason for its continued processing, e.g. it’s no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was originally collected

4. estrict the processing of your personal information - this enables you to ask us to suspend the

processing of your personal information, e.g. if you contest its accuracy and so want us to verify its

accuracy

5. object to the processing of your personal information - this enables you to ask us to stop processing

your personal information where we are relying on the legitimate interests of the business as our legal

basis for processing and there is something relating to your particular situation which makes you

decide to object to processing on this ground

7. data portability - this gives you the right to request the transfer of your personal information to another party so that you can reuse it across different services for your own purposes.

This is a security measure to ensure that your personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.

 

In the limited circumstances where you have provided your consent to the processing of your personal information for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw your consent for that specific processing at any time. Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your personal information for the purpose you originally agreed to, unless we have another legal basis for processing.

 

If you believe that the Company has not complied with your data protection rights, you have the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at any time. The ICO is the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues.

 

Changes to this privacy notice

The Company reserves the right to update or amend this privacy notice at any time, including where the Company intends to further process your personal information for a purpose other than that for which the personal information was collected or where we intend to process new types of personal information. We will update the privacy notice when we make significant updates or amendments. We may also notify you about the processing of your personal information in other ways.
